The Triumph of Nansdorfeherevan is a fully co-operative game where you play the heroes you know from the film series: János Hunyadi, János Kapistrán, Elisabeth Szilágyi and Mihály TI! On the other side, Sultan Mehmed II (Mohammed) the Conqueror is raising an elite army of tens of thousands to storm the gates of the Kingdom of Hungary three years after the conquest of Byzantium. Stop him, prevail in the deadly battle! Your task is to break the blockade of Turkish ships on the Danube and then drive back the armies attacking the castle. You must keep a constant eye on the rapidly dwindling food supplies and the castle to ensure that there are always enough men-at-arms to keep it going. The defenders' job is made easier by dozens of Helpers, while you must fend off new events each turn. The challenge is tough, but you can turn the outcome in your favour by making wise choices. The game presents a historically accurate tableau of contemporary characters and events, transporting players back to 1456 like a time machine. Crucially, no in-depth knowledge of the period is required to enjoy the game, and the beginner mode allows those with little experience in board games to connect immediately. You have a beautiful, unique game in which it is up to TI's decisions whether the southern bell tolls the victory in the Christian world or the Turkish muezzin fills Europe!
